Here`s my first little mod for HT, AI INFANTRY WAR.

Skirmish AI will only build and fight with infantry units. Quite simple Smile
This is far from perfect but its working and its fun!

I recommend you play vs. several hard AI opponents with money settings to the maximum.
You can also play vs easy and medium but they are surely no match Smile

Hope you like it.

A big "Thank You" to Salsifi and BuckyBoy for helping with the code.

Known issues:

- CS Camo Units don`t work very well
- Build order is o be perfected (with normal money settings this doesn`t work so well)

congrats on your first mod Smile
I just tested it on bridge too far, but the AI only built 2 barracks. I set the AI on hard with 100,000 cash. Here's the replay:

you tested vs. US ? - Give the AI time, if you like to see fast building, select Consortium...
US starts to build more barracks after upgrading to Defcon 3 ...

Well i saw a TFT hard opponent build a stryker so it might not be completely fool proof for TFT, but the building nor the Stryker was around long enough because an F-117 obliterated both of them.

If there was a bank on map, the stryker if in machin gun mode, came from the script to take the bank

Also, he can come from the exploration behavior

These things have a separate build action from the general build units

ah there you got it thanks. I was aware of the exploration thing but didnt playtest on a map with a bank... gonna fix that...

Yeah there was a bank on that map but the Stryker didnt do squat. Just sat there and got a bomb dropped on its head. It wasnt much of an issue, didnt move at all and im sure it didnt move when i was looking.

I have done some more testing and i now have an opinion for TFT vs CS, and CS vs CS
TFT vs CS: The amount of building for an advanced AI was unbelieveably small. They never even got a field hospital.
CS vs CS: The AI was excellent with use of SA-7's and MM1 mortars. Although the appearance of OC Soldiers were seldom few as i rolled into the enemy base they still made the occasional appearances.

On average i say its pretty good in this scenario.

kk, u shouldn`t play with easy or medium, I just put them in for testing, the only difference is that the y build less barracks. No fieldhospital for cs ? that shouldn`t be, maybe it was the map, not enough build space maybe, all hard AI should build 8 or 9 barracks + hospital or prison...
